The top 10 import partners of Botswana accounted 95.1% of overall value of shipments.

Botswana ranked 113 in global exports in 2019. The country exported $5.35B worth commodities to the world countries. As per the Botswana Export Data, the top 10 exports accounted for 97.8% of the overall value of its global shipments.

As per the Botswana Custom Data, 96.1% of commodities exported from the country were purchased by importers in Belgium, India, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Singapore, Israel, Hong Kong, Nambia, United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Canada.

From the continental perceptive, 57.2% of Botswana exports by value were delivered to Asian countries, 25% to importers in Europe, and the 13.7% of commodities to African nations. As per US Department of Commerce, there are very few tariff or non-tariff barriers to trade with Botswana, apart from restrictions on licensing for some business operations that are reserved for Botswana companies.
